  1. We are very glad to announce that we are going to announce another Capture the Flag Summer Cup. Last year's tournament was a success, and we are sure that this year's tournament won't be any different as well. These are the links that you will need to know everything about our tournament: Registration (the registration period will start on 21st June since we want to give others some time to create the maps for the Capture the Flag Mapping Contest, more information about the Mapping Contest has been provided at the end of this topic): Guide & Rules: Team finder: Event organisation team: Applying to be a referee: Voting for your favourite maps: ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Dear community, hello! We are happy to announce another mapping contest. This time a CTF one! What is the goal of this contest: The goal is simple; create a simple, clear and playable map on the theme of spring/summer for the upcoming Capture the Flag Summer Cup. How do I create a CTF map: This topic should contain all the information that you need. Where should I post the map(s): Post your map(s) here. Where do I send my map(s): Include all files into one zip file and send it via PM to me. Rules: There are basically no rules or restrictions. Use your imagination, use a spring/summer theme, nothing else. You can post as many maps as you want, however only one prize will be given in case the mapper(s) win(s). Maximum three mappers should be involved in creating a map. Post format: The title of the topic should be like this: [CTF] Mapper's name (ft. if there is more than one mapper) - Map's name The format used in the topic should be like this: Mapper(s) involved: Map's name: Screenshots/Videos/Anything else you may want to add: What is the deadline: All maps must be posted and sent until 07.06.2017 23:59 GMT +2. Prizes: We will give out as many prizes possible. Every map has a chance. Post as many maps as you wish, however there will one prize per one person. The winning maps will be selected by us. The prizes are: Donator status for month + in-game rewards on the newTwisted Gamers 3 server. The opportunity to watch the entire tournament directly on the server. Note: The prizes might change in some time. Best regards, Twisted Gamers Event Organization Team

    Help me!

Hello everybody, today i made this post because i need help with something. I'm making my DM map vol.1 and i have a problem with the shades. When i try to do one loop or flat road i can not make the two types of shades on the road because one object looks bigger than the other. Brown [8838] Lighter [3458] Screenshot: http://imgur.com/a/Fpg3e And I've seen other maps, They make loops and flat roads by mixing the two shades. Brown [8838] Lighter [3458] There's an example: http://imgur.com/a/IFejg I hope you can help me, thanks for read my post. Regards CinnamoN!
  4. Hello, dear mappers! I will keep updating this topic with the newest tools in Multi Theft Auto. This pack includes: Arezu's mapping tool (Used mostly for track creation & duplicating objects) "F7" to open/close. NeXtreme's Editor Tools (Used mostly for track creation, moving map, duplicating objects and for warps) "SHIFT+R"to open/close. Autoshade script (Used for shades covering) "SHIFT+G" to open/close. Movement recorder tool (Used for movement recording) "R" to start recording. Palm script (Custom palm). Radio script (Add radio to listen to music) "F10" to switch on/off radio, "N" to change channel. nGears Grouping Tool (Change the model of specific, self selected objects) ex: Change white shades to brown shades. Yellow arrowsigns (Custom arrowsigns, ID 7910). (Color can be edited) Mirage's object Controller (This video can explain it more efficiently). Watch the video here! Draw script (Sets your draw distance to its maximum). PS: This script could fix slow loading issues -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Place all the zips inside the pack to -- MTA San Andreas 1.5/server/mods/deathmatch/resources Commands : /start amt /start netools /start autoshade /start mrt /start palm /start radio /start NGT /start arrowsigns /start moc /start draw [Download pack] ~ Good luck, see you soon!
  5. Yo wa$$up! This map has been made in 29.12.2015. I recorded and edited it just now 'cause now I had the time for it. This is my second DD map I've ever created. (The first one is old AF and nowhere to be found...) Special thanks to @Surflexy
  6. Hey guys, Today I will present a new map called: BOOMBASTIC! By: Tarkaan, I hope you like! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The map itself is dark, so the video is something dark in certain occasions. Skype: Smyxter1 Channel: Click Here! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Best Regards! ~Smyx
  7. There has been a lack of new maps and creativity for a while now, I speak mainly for shooter maps. So I take it upon Myself to host this competition so hopefully people will be interested in participating and show us their creativity. The competition will have a limit of two weeks and a reward of 100 million in game money, may not seem like much but that's what I can offer as of now. (May include a bonus if the map is more that exceptional) Those interested in participating may leave their names below so I can get a good idea of what I'll be expecting and to know who will be entering. So far there are no rules on how your map should be like. (Other than being buggy obviously) If any admin/player would like to support my idea by contributing a better reward to the winner and review maps please feel free to DM me. Hope I can be impressed with what you guys have to offer. PS: SHOOTER MAPS ONLY! :)
  8. Hello there, again. I'm here to show you guys how to add few scripts to your map. Let's get started! 1- Teleport Step 1 : Create a .lua file and call it "teleport.lua" then, copy this. marker = createMarker(x, y, z, 'corona', size, 0, 0, 0, 0) -- [Here, add the information of the marker] function teleport(player) if getElementType(player)=="player" then local vehicle=getPedOccupiedVehicle(player) if source == marker then setElementPosition(vehicle , x, y, z) --[Add the information of the marker you want to teleport to] setElementRotation(vehicle, X, Y, Z) --[Add the rotations of the vehicle] setElementFrozen(vehicle, true) setTimer(setVehicleFrozen, 1000, 1, vehicle, false) end end end addEventHandler("onClientMarkerHit", getRootElement(), teleport) Step 2 : Open your map's meta file and add this line "<script src="teleport.lua" type="client"></script>" 2- Explosions Step 1 : Create a .lua file and call it "explosions.lua" then, copy this. gMe1 = getLocalPlayer() function marker() marker1 = createMarker(x, y, z, "corona", size, 0, 0, 0, 0) --[Here, add the information of the marker] end function MarkerHit ( hitPlayer, matchingDimension ) vehicle = getPedOccupiedVehicle ( hitPlayer ) if hitPlayer ~= gMe1 then return end if source == marker1 then explosion = createExplosion(x, y, z, <type>) --[Add coordinations to x, y, z. there are a lot of explosion types(look below)] end end addEventHandler( "onClientResourceStart", getResourceRootElement(getThisResource()), marker) addEventHandler ( "onClientMarkerHit", getRootElement(), MarkerHit) -- 0: Grenade -- 1: Molotov -- 2: Rocket -- 3: Rocket Weak -- 4: Car -- 5: Car Quick -- 6: Boat -- 7: Heli -- 8: Mine -- 9: Object -- 10: Tank Grenade -- 11: Small -- 12: Tiny Step 2 : Open your map's meta file and add this line "<script src="explosions.lua" type="client"></script>" 3- Slow motion Step 1 : Create a .lua file and call it "slowmotion.lua" then, copy this. gMe1 = getLocalPlayer() function gravity1() marker1 = createMarker(x, y, z,"corona", s, 0, 0, 0, 0) --[Here, add the information of the first marker] marker2 = createMarker(x, y, z,"corona", s, 0, 0, 0, 0) --[Here, add the information of the second marker] end function MarkerHit ( hitPlayer, matchingDimension ) vehicle = getPedOccupiedVehicle ( hitPlayer ) if hitPlayer ~= gMe1 then return end if source == marker1 then setGameSpeed(P ) --[Replace P with a number between 0 and 1] end if source == marker2 then setGameSpeed(1) end end addEventHandler( "onClientResourceStart", getResourceRootElement(getThisResource()), gravity1 ) addEventHandler ( "onClientMarkerHit", getRootElement(), MarkerHit ) Step 2 : Open your map's meta file and add this line "<script src="slowmotion.lua" type="client"></script>" 4- Scene camera Step 1 : Create a .lua file and call it "scene_camera.lua" then, copy this. marker1 = createMarker(X, Y, Z, "corona", Size, 0, 0, 0, 0) --[Here, add the information of the first marker] marker2 = createMarker(X, Y, Z, "Type", Size, 0, 0, 0, 0) --[Here, add the information of the first marker] function sceneCamera(hitPlayer, matchingDimension) if(hitPlayer ~= getLocalPlayer() or not matchingDimension) then return end if(source == marker1)then setCameraMatrix(X, Y, Z, TX, TY, TZ, Rotation, View) --[Add Information of the location of the camera and the look target. Rotation is the rotation of the camera (from 0 to 360) and the view of the camera (from 0 to 180)] end if(source == marker2)then setCameraTarget(hitPlayer) end end addEventHandler("onClientMarkerHit", getRootElement(), sceneCamera) Step 2 : Open your map's meta file and add this line "<script src="scene_camera.lua" type="client"></script>" 5- Velocity Step 1 : Create a .lua file and call it "velocity.lua" then, copy this. speed1 = createMarker(x, y, z, "corona", size, 0, 0, 0, 0) --[Here, add the information of the marker] function boost(player) if getElementType(player)=="player" then local vehicle = getPedOccupiedVehicle(player) if source == speed1 then setElementVelocity(vehicle, 0, 0, 0) --[Change the "0 , 0 , 0". The first 0 is X coordination, Second 0 is Y coordination, Third 0 is Z coordination] end end end addEventHandler("onClientMarkerHit", resourceRoot, boost) Step 2 : Open your map's meta file and add this line "<script src="velocity.lua" type="client"></script>" 5- Moving objects (This is the most complicated one) Step 1 : Create a .lua file and call it "movement.lua" then, copy this. marker1 = createMarker(X, Y, Z, "corona", Size, 0, 0, 0, 0) --[Here, add the information of the marker] <name> = createObject(ID, X, Y, Z, RX, RY, RZ) --[Add informations of the object into ID, X, Y, Z, RX (Rotation X), RY(Rotation Y), RZ(Rotation Z)] [<name> = createVehicle(ID, X, Y, Z, RX, RY, RZ)] --[Add informations of the vehicle into ID, X, Y, Z, RX (Rotation X), RY(Rotation Y), RZ(Rotation Z)] setElementCollisionsEnabled(<name>, false) --[Put the name of the movable object/vehicle inside <name>. (example: <name> replaced by panel.)] setElementFrozen(<name>, true) function movement(hitPlayer, matchingDimension) if(hitPlayer ~= getLocalPlayer() or not matchingDimension) then return end if(source == marker1)then addEventHandler("onClientRender", getRootElement(), move) startTime = getTickCount() endTime = startTime + <move> --[Add the time in millisecond inside <move> to make the movement] setTimer(function() removeEventHandler("onClientRender", getRootElement(), move) end, <move>, 1) end end addEventHandler("onClientMarkerHit", getRootElement(), movement) function move() local now = getTickCount() local elapsedTime = now - startTime local duration = endTime - startTime local progress = elapsedTime / duration local x, y, z = interpolateBetween(X, Y, Z, --[Copy the coordinations of X, Y, Z from your movable object/vehicle inside X, Y, Z of this function. (don't change x, y, z at local x, y, z)] TX, TY, TZ, --[Add the coordinations of the target to move] progress, "Linear") setElementPosition(<name>, x, y, z) --[Change only <name> of this line] end Step 2 : Open your map's meta file and add this line "<script src="movement.lua" type="client"></script>" That's all for now. If anybody has a problem or wants to know about another script, leave a comment.
  9. o Hello guys, today i decided to start the first part of my mapping series since some guys asked me to do so. I hadn't time to make edits but it's fine. 10. Hello everybody Many mappers already knows about this, still some doesn't. This tutorial shows how to place objects using coordinations & how does double-siding works. ->Short-cut : Press "C" to copy the object selected. -> Increasing "X" value from (position) makes your object move forward. -> Decreasing "X" value from (position) makes your object move backward. -> Increasing "Y" value from (position) makes your object move to the left. -> Decreasing "Y" value from (position) makes your object move to the right -> Adding - before the "Y" value will make your object mirror-moved to the right side. -> Removing - from the "Y" value will make your object mirror-moved to the left side. -> Make sure to rotate objects after using the double side trick. -> When all "X" , "Y" , "Z" (position) has values, add - before "X" & "Z" to rotate it correctly. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Song link (requested by DiablO) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MI_Jo Software used : Sony vegas Pro 11
